Mélange N°3
Confetti of orange, magenta, violet and green cast in a tight rain on white. Chromatic saturation at its breaking point.
Mélange N°3 pushes colour to the limit: confetti of orange, magenta, violet and green flung in a tight rain over a white ground. It is a joyful, saturated original abstract painting that instantly warms up a room. The panoramic 18 × 36 inch format works well above a sofa or a headboard, or in a dining room. The high-gloss varnish intensifies every hue and protects the surface. 1½″ gallery-depth stretcher with painted edges, ready to hang without a frame. A unique piece by Charles Drapeau, action painter based in Montréal, signed and dated on the back, with a certificate of authenticity.
