Rouge Galaxie
White splatters and gold flashes on deep black. A nebula of incandescent red in full expansion.
Rouge Galaxie shows a nebula of incandescent red in full expansion, crossed by white splatters and flashes of gold on a deep black ground. It is one of the most intense canvases in Charles Drapeau’s Galaxy series. At 24 × 36 inches, this original abstract painting has enough presence to carry the main wall of a living room or an office on its own. The high-gloss varnish heightens the contrast between red and black. Mounted on a 1½″ gallery-depth stretcher with painted edges, it hangs without a frame. A unique piece painted in Montréal, signed and dated on the back, with a certificate of authenticity.
